According to the polling site FiveThirtyEight.com, both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are more strongly disliked than any other nominee in the previous 10 elections. As FiveThirtyEight's Harry Enten writes, “no major party nominee before Clinton or Trump had a double-digit net negative ‘strong favorability’ rating. Clinton’s would be the lowest ever, except for Trump.”

It’s amazing.

I never thought I’d see it in my lifetime, but it never ceases to astound me what these two political parties are capable of accomplishing.  DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans never cease to amaze me.  They’ve now put forward two candidates that have higher negatives than positives.

What astounds me even more is that the American public accepts this. Nothing’s going to change until the public ceases to accept this.  These are the two choices they’re offering us.  And until this country wakes up and realizes that there are in fact more than two choices, despite what mainstream media shoves down our throats, then this is what you’re going to get.

Ron Paul mentioned he’s going to vote Libertarian. As will I.  Many of us will that are clear-thinking and realize how horrible these two parties are.  We will vote Libertarian, while the rest of the lemmings will continue with business as usual.

They’ll bitch about it but they’ll keep electing them.

What you have now is a classic case of not voting for someone you want in the presidency.  You’re voting against someone. To me, that’s not a recipe for success.

I’ve always had the belief that you vote for someone you believe in.  When you cast your vote, you want that person to be president.  You don’t vote for a politician so that another doesn’t become president.  And yet here you have an instance where people don’t want either as president! People are going to vote for Trump because they don’t want Hillary - and people are going to vote for Hillary because they don’t want Trump.  I think that’s as bad a scenario you’re going to get regarding a presidential election.

If the country wants Donald Trump to be president, it doesn’t surprise me. We have the mentality right now of 1930s Germany: we’re marginalizing a certain group of people and blaming them for all our troubles; we want to build a wall to “protect” us from said-group; politicians are bating voters with fear; and they’re shouting that we have a weak military that we need to build upon so we can spread terror throughout the world.

Just like in 1930s Germany.  That’s exactly what was preached then. And that’s the mentality of this nation now.

Don’t blame me, I didn’t vote for either of them.  And that’s what I’ll continue to do.
