The grocery giant apologized today, stating the overcharges stem from unintentional errors of the hands-on approach to packaging.

Investigators discovered that nationwide, the food chain overcharged anywhere from $1 to $15 an item!
Whole Foods CEOs said in a video statement that this was completely “unintentional” mislabeling that sometimes resulted in the customer’s favor, as products were also labeled under their actual value in weight.
The solution? The company will increase training nationwide and add a third party auditing system, plus free products will be given to those who find them mislabeled.
