Ruchi Pandya, a high school senior from San Jose, created a life-saving device that took her all the way to the White House.

Not Impossible Now reported on a fun story that we wanted to share with you Vigilant Viewers on this happy Friday. So here it is....

Ruchi Pandaya might have created one of the most ingenious pieces of technology when she finished crafting a nanotechnology-based biosensor for cardiac health diagnostics. The sensor, a small square device, warns consumers when they are within 72 hours of suffering a heart attack by checking for spikes in certain proteins that are present when an attack is on the horizon.

Because of this device, people will have a chance to prevent the attack from coming on in the first place or at least be prepared if it does happen, meaning they will be more likely to survive.

Pandaya won several national science competitions and was eventually selected to join the White House science fair. Of the 100 students who attended, only 34 presented projects. Panadaya was one of the lucky presenters who actually got to share her invention with the President of the United States himself.

At 18 years old, she has accomplished more than scientists double her age. We wish her all the best at Off the Grid.

As Real Life Vigilante Nick Rubin shows us in the video below, you don’t have to be old to make a difference.
