Rand Paul released a short statement about the death of the hostage in the recent drone strike but said nothing about the killings of Adam Gadahn and Ahmed Farouq. He did not address them in his weekend speech to the Iowa Faith & Freedom summit or in a couple of campaign stops in the state. When Paul was pressed on drones, he did not take the chance to criticize the strikes.
Since Rand Paul won't address the issue, Jesse will. He told us,
"We're flying these weapons all over the world so what’s to stop the government from using them at home? Think about this for a minute. Do you want government flying over your homes with drones? Do you want your death to be classified as collateral damage?"
