Kareem Abdul-Jabbar "Trump Dividing U.S. WithBigotry"

NBA champion Kareem Abdul-Jabbar joins Larry with the latest on his feud with Donald Trump & blasts the GOP front-runner's campaign rhetoric. Then: Reza Farahan gives his take on politics of the day, and Heidi Harris sounds off on about the Las Vegas GOP debate.

TIME columnist Abdul-Jabbar is a six-time NBA champion and league Most Valuable Player. He is also a celebrated author, filmmaker and education ambassador whose life and career are the subject of Minority of One, a new documentary on HBO Sports.  KAREEM: MINORITY OF ONE spotlights an athlete who had an unparalleled impact on, and success in, basketball, and has witnessed numerous landmarks over the past 50 years. The exclusive HBO presentation marks the first time since retiring as an active player that Jabbar has participated in a documentary telling his life story.

Jabbar also recently released a new book Mycroft Holmes.  Did you know he is a huge Holmesian? The book reveals the untold story of Sherlock Holme’s older brother and sets the stage for the man Mycroft would become: founder of the famous Diogenes Club and the hidden power behind the British government.

Fresh out of Cambridge University, the young Mycroft Holmes is already making a name for himself in government, working for the Secretary of State for War. Yet this most British of civil servants has strong ties to the faraway island of Trinidad, the birthplace of his best friend, Cyrus Douglas, a man of African descent, and where his fiancée Georgiana Sutton was raised.

Mycroft’s comfortable existence is overturned when Douglas receives troubling reports from home. There are rumors of mysterious disappearances, strange footprints in the sand, and spirits enticing children to their deaths, their bodies found drained of blood. Upon hearing the news, Georgiana abruptly departs for Trinidad. Near panic, Mycroft convinces Douglas that they should follow her, drawing the two men into a web of dark secrets that grows more treacherous with each step they take.

During the interview with Larry, Kareem talks about a lot more giving his take on Barack Obama, terrorism, and anti Muslim rhetoric.

In this clip he gives some exclusive Laker news to Larry!
