Tonight on PoliticKING: Sean Astin of Lord of the Rings is Team Hillary

Actor & filmmaker Sean Astin ("The Lord of the Rings") tells Larry about the moment Hillary Clinton earned his support & what led to his twitter feud with a fellow actor over the recent violence in Baltimore. Plus, he opens up about "Goonies 2" rumors.

Tonight on #PoliticKING, Sean Astin (best known for his roles in The Lord of the Rings, Goonies, and Rudy), tells Larry King why he'll support Hillary Clinton for president, "no matter what."

Larry King asks why Sean is Team Hillary. Astin explains his loyalty started prior to her run for public office:

The very first political thing I ever did was- when I was in community college and I flew to Colorado University Boulder to speak before Hillary, who was first Lady of Arkansas at that point, and it was her single biggest, it was like 15,000 people, it was her biggest event without the governor. And I was there, Dana Delaney was there, Michelle Schock was there, and I stood up in front of these 15,000 people, I didn’t know what I was going to say, I just talked about wanting a better world for my kids, really, and then Secretary Clinton got up and she spoke for, it was well over an hour, and no notecards. And she touched with such depth and passion and feeling about what we can do in our world to make it a better place. Better place for normal people. So I don’t care how many millions she has, or how many millions President Clinton gets to give a speech, the fact that when she speaks about helping poor people, I believe her, and that meant something to me. And when she finished her speech, she turned around and she shook my hand and looked me in the eye and said thank you for being here, and in that moment I said I’m on Team Hillary, no matter what.

Sean Astin also opens up to Larry King about the long running rumors of a "Goonies 2" - watch the sneak preview here:
