5 Spices to Step Up Your Cooking Game!

On this week's, The Real Girls Kitchen, "Spice Girls" Haylie was inspired by Hannah and Lauren's handpainted dishes from the little market to cook Moroccan.  The number one key to Moroccan food? Spices!

We put a list together of 5 Spices to Step Up Your Cooking Game! And as an added bonus, their health benefit!

1. Ginger: Anti-inflammatory and great for digestion. Add fresh ginger to juices, teas, and pretty much any vegetable dish.

2. Cumin: Supports healthy blood sugar levels and is an anti-oxidant. It’s a great mild spice for curry dishes.

3. Cinnamon: An anti-oxidant and supports healthy blood sugar levels. Add to oatmeal, coffee, tea and smoothies.

4. Cayenne: Destroys bacteria and enhances your immune system, improves blood flow, has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiseptic, diuretic, analgesic, expectorant, and diaphoretic properties. Add to soups, stir-fries, curries and rice veggie dishes.
