She’s calling on behalf of your IT manager… and uses his or her real name. The caller wants to sort out a minor problem with your user account. She asks about your new car and your family. She even complains about the hot weather. Then she needs to confirm your email account and password to resolve the issue. You provide this issue without a second thought. congratulations, you have just given a hacker direct access to your company’s servers.
