X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer's Online Debut

The trailer for the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse hit the web last night and it looks incredible!

It has been almost 2 years since we last checked in with our favorite group of super heroes the X-Men but judging by the trailer that was released online last night it will be well worth the wait!

X-Men: Apocalypse brings in one of the X-Men's most notorious and most power super villains in the form of Apocalypse. Apocalypse is the worlds oldest mutant and dates back to ancient times. He is immortal and also features super human strength, energy manipulation, DNA manipulation, molecular manipulation and a genius intelligence just to name a few.

Apocalypse will portrayed by the incredible Oscar Isaac. This will also be the first film that we shed the original cast of X-Men. Days of Futures past left us completely in the new time line. Oscar is also starring in the Star Wars "The Force Unleashed" this year so 2016 is bound to be a great year for the veteran actor.

Reprising their roles as our favorite group of Mutants are James McAvoy (Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast) & Evan Peters (Quicksilver). We also get an all new group of X-Men with some familiar characters making their on screen returns. These characters include Psyloke (Olivia Munn), Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Ty Sheridan (Cyclops), Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Jubilee (Lana Condor) and everyones favorite blue teleporter The Night Crawler (Kodi-Smit McPhee).

This X-Men film has so much potential between the new cast taking the reigns, the large number of X-Men characters in the film and the actors signed on to play them.

With the new cast taking over we say goodbye to almost every actor that has portrayed the characters brilliantly to this point. Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier)  sat down with Larry King and discussed he and Ian McKellen departing their iconic roles. You can see the interviews below.

Stan Lee is also touting his X-Men: Apocalypse cameo as his favorite Marvel move appearance ever!
