Last night, the Miss America pageant returned to Atlantic City after being held in Las Vegas for six years and crowned a new Miss America.
The judges, Lance Bass, Carla Hall, Amar'e Stoudemire, Joshua Bell and Mario Cantone (WHO PICKED THESE JUDGES?), narrowed it down to....Miss New York!
This is the second year in a row Miss New York has taken the crown but the first time in Miss America history that the winner is from Indian descent. While some are congratulating Miss New York, aka Nina Davuluri, others are disappointed that Miss Kansas, Theresa Vail, didn't take the crown.Miss Kansas is a sergeant in the Army National Guard and the first contestant to show off tattoos on stage.
Miss Kansas should have won! She's tatted, fought for our country, bow hunts, and is gorgeous. #MissAmericapic.twitter.com/IZSWylCuOT”

Congratulations, Miss New York! And congratulations to Lance Bass for continuing to have the strangest post 'NSYNC career.
Seriously, none of those judges has any idea how hard it is to do Irish step dancing! #MissAmerica

Does anyone remember when #MissAmerica was judged with qualified judges instead of B list celebrities?

Celebrity judges: Lance Bass. Mario Cantone. Well. At least they're being real about their audience. #MissAmerica

What if they did Miss America like the Voice? You know, with the judges' backs to the stage. It'd be pretty interesting. ;)
