ARST ARSW: Star Wars Sorted Alphabetically

What you're about to see only exists because of one man's love of Star Wars and his superhuman patience. Artist Tom Murphy took all of the English dialogue from Star Wars, put it in alphabetical order and then compiled a 43 minute video featuring every single word. At first it's hard to watch and then it gets sort of interesting and now we want Tom Murphy to make MORE ART.

Check out some of the "fun facts" from the video:

The word "lightsaber" only appears once in this film.

There are 43m5s of spoken English, 81m39s of other.

The most common word is "the", of course, said 368 times.

The word with most screen time is "you", at 52.56 seconds.

There are 1695 different words, and 11684 total words.

The longest words are "responsibility," "malfunctioning", "worshipfulness", and "identification", all 14 letters.
