Matthew McConaughey
Matthew McConaughey is an American actor who first gained notice for his breakout role in the coming of age comedy, Dazed and Confused in 1993. He went on to appear in films in a variety of genres including the slasher Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, the legal thriller A Time to Kill and Steven Spielberg's historical drama Amistad. In the early 2000's McConaughey became best known for starring in romantic comedies including The Wedding Planner with co-star Jennifer Lopez and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Since 2010 he has moved away from romantic comedies and has taken more critical roles in the films, The Lincoln Lawyer, Bernie, Mud and Magic Mike. In 2006 McConughey met Brazilian model Camila Alves and proposed to her five years later on Christmas Day. The couple wed the following year in June and have three children together.
