After the Supreme Court ruling that cleared the way for gay marriage in California, that state’s Governor Jerry Brown ordered the Public Health Department to resume issuing marriage licenses to gay couples.California’s Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom told NBC news he expects legal gay marriages to resume within 30 days.
