Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, hearing the case of Proposition 8 now before the highest court says the case may not reach central issue of right to marry for gays.The first day of a two day hearing to consider the legality of same sex marriage just wrapped up.Pro and Anti marriage equality protesters gathered to show their support for their respective causes outside the nation’s highest court. Tomorrow they will argue the legality of the Defense of Marriage Act of 1996. The court is expected to deliver their decision in the case this July.
