GATOR SOUP?: Officials Find Live Alligator in Hot Tub During Drug Bust

While searching a home for drugs, South Florida deputies were shocked to find a "live" alligator living in a hot tub.

Indian River Sheriff spokesmen THomas Raulen said, "I believe this is probably the first time we've ever actually seen a gator in a hot tub."

According to the guy, the alligator was there when he moved in, so he just started feeding it.

Tony Wells was charged with "possession of an alligator."

Another person who lives in the home, Crystal Williams was also charged with possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence and possession of marijuana.

She apparently had nothing to do with the alligator.

Florida Fish and Wildlife officials removed and relocated the animal.
