Police dash cams usually catch footage of officers in moments of distress, but this one shows a truly endearing moment.
Dash cam caught a police officer from the city of Rosenberg in Texas, stop to play football with a lonely kid from the community.
The video first appeared Saturday and was uploaded to the Police Department's Facebook page. It has already gone viral with more than 4,000 views.
The officer has received much praise from the community and one comment on the video sums it up, "You guys have got community policing nailed down perfectly."
As for the boy in the video? He says he wants to be a police officer or professional football player when he grows up.
