INFLATABLE DIET: New Gastric Balloon That Comes in Pill Form

Looking for a new way to deflate hunger and shed some pounds?

Well look no further than the new gastric bypass balloon that comes in the form of a pill!

The new device, named Obalon, does not require invasive surgery like other gastric bypass devices. The balloon capsule is swallowed and attached to a small rubber tube,  the capsule dissolves in the stomach and the rubber tube is removed through the mouth.

Obalon is then inflated to about the size of an apple and the device it good for thirty days.

The procedure is currently only available in the the UK and aimed at those not overweight enough to need weight loss surgery.
