Jesse Ventura: We Should Be Fixing Up Our Own Country Before Spending Tax Dollars Beyond Borders

Winston W. from WI asks: Which candidate for president do you think would abolish Homeland Security Act, the Patriot Act and Federal Reserve Act?

Jesse Says:

There’s only one that would do that and that would be Rand Paul.

Maybe he’s the only one with any inclination to do those briefings. I’m not sure about Bernie Sanders, but maybe him too. I would say out of the current crop, Bernie Sanders and Rand Paul would be the only two candidates.

I don’t know. I don’t do the internet. Your guess is as good as mine.

All I know is Bin Laden was our ally in Afghanistan at one time. So the U.S. is always changing partners. I’d love to have somebody explain it to me at the state department.

Jesse Says:

I think what we need to do it is taking care of our own backyard. We should be fixing up our own country, infrastructure and helping people here before spending tax dollars beyond borders. I think the priority of tax dollars should go to us not to some foreign country war.

The best thing you can do as an individual is to volunteer for something. It’s that simple. That’s ground level. Volunteer and do something for free that helps somebody. It’s as simple as that.
