“I know for a fact today, that if you’re gonna lead this country, and I’ve said this before, you would have to be dishonest in one form or another,” says the former Governor of Minnesota.

Richard from an undisclosed location writes: “There is a reason why people like you Jesse don't make president.  You have to be part of their agenda.  You my friend are too honest.”

I know for a fact today, that if you’re gonna lead this country, and I’ve said this before, you would have to be dishonest in one form or another.  This is the reason why I believe that I couldn’t be president. I don’t think I could go on television and lie to the citizens of this country. I firmly believe that to be the president of the United States, you have to lie to some extent. And I don’t think I could do it.

James from Missouri asks: “Dear Governor Ventura, what are thoughts on David Koch considering donating money to Gary Johnson's campaign?”

I have every indication that Gary Johnson is an honest man.  When he says he doesn’t know a thing about the Koch brothers and their supposed money, I believe him.  Remember that this game of politics is about lying when you want, and if the Koch Brothers can undermine an independent, then that would make Johnson less appealing wouldn’t it?  So before we go jumping to conclusions stemming from these reports,we need to see more facts because I don’t buy that Gary Johnson would knowingly allow this to happen.
