Mia Love, the first black Republican woman elected to Congress is returning $1,000 in donations from Earl Holt, the alleged white supremacist whose writings have reportedly inspired Charleston shooter Dylann Roof. A spokesman for U.S. Rep. Mia Love said Monday that she would be returning the three donations Holt made to her campaign immediately.
I give the politicians a bit of a pass on this one because they don’t know where the money comes from. But once they learn they’ve received money from someone like this, they need to do the right thing. I wouldn’t give it back to him. I would give it to the NAACP just to really piss him off.
