Brandi Glanville on how Donald Trump treated her during 'Celebrity Apprentice'

Larry King: But first, obviously, the man of the hour. Mr. Trump. What was it like working on that show?

Brandi Glanville: You know, honestly, I had a great experience with Donald Trump. When the cameras were off he was lovely to everyone, he made sure that everyone knew that it was a show and they did a great job – and the cameras came on and he turned into the “you’re fired” guy. And he’s great television. I liked him as a person, however I didn’t vote for him as, obviously, as president. But, I had a great experience with him.

Larry King: Are you surprised that he’s president?

Brandi Glanville: I’m shocked.

Larry King: Is he the same person that you see now on a press conference or signing executive orders that you knew.

Brandi Glanville: He’s the same person as when the cameras were on. Behind the scenes he’s much softer, and I think when he’s doing his shtick and he’s debating and doing all this he’s the “you’re fired” guy instead of the softer side that we all got to know.

Larry King: You know lots of stories, and you couldn’t answer them, or at least part of it, that there are secret tapes, behind the scenes tapes of ‘The Apprentice’ that NBC is keeping and never showing. That shows him not appealing – appealing in a bad way toward women. Did you ever sense that?

Brandi Glanville: Honestly, the only thing, and every news, everyone reached out to me when it became evident that he was going to be the Republican nominee, and they wanted to know what was inappropriate with how he treated me, and he wasn’t inappropriate with me. I mean, I’m not gonna make anything up, the only thing I could remember was that he did say “you should never wear red lipstick.” And I was like, I wore it the next day. I don’t really care, I’m not taking makeup advice from Donald Trump. But he was honestly not inappropriate with me. Like, I’ve heard stories, I don’t know that these tapes actually exist. I mean, how would I know?
