MONDAY marks the premiere of my online show “Off The Grid” on Ora.

Many people have asked me, “Governor, what made you decide to do an internet show?”

Well, when I was in New York on my book tour for DemoCRIPS and ReBLOODlicans: No More Gangs in Government, I was a guest on Larry King’s show “Politicking.” We got to talking, as we usually do, and he explained to me that the internet gives him freedom he never had on cable, and I thought, that’s what it would take for me to go back on the air: complete freedom to report what I want, how I want, without any corporations telling me what to do for the sake of advertisers or ratings.

The American people deserve to know more about what’s really going on in the world. And it’s your right to know what’s really going on.

Justin Bieber has no right to make the news. He isn’t news.

What’s going on in the Ukraine right now? That’s news.

The fact that the company responsible for two chemical spills in West Virginia’s drinking water is trying to skirt out of lawsuits by claiming bankruptcy? That’s news.

I’m filming my show from undisclosed locations that really are off the grid so no one can shut me down.

For those who are my age and still remember “Radio Free America” – I’m broadcasting my show “Off The Grid” in much the same way. "Radio Free America" was known as "Pirate Radio" because it was broadcast on a ship at sea so the FCC couldn't control what they said on the air.

After the Iron Curtain fell over Soviet-dominated Eastern Europe, "Radio Free Europe" and "Radio Liberty" played a vital role in broadcasting news and opinion to people deprived of the truth by censorious governments. Nobel laureate and Poland freedom fighter Lech Walesa said that the importance of "Radio Free Europe" is something that "cannot even be described. Would there be earth without the sun?"

Much like broadcasting a radio show over the iron curtain into East Berlin, I’ll be broadcasting the truth over the iron curtain that is mainstream media into occupied America.

This also gives me a unique perspective about the news because I’m not tainted by what’s going on in the states. I won’t be covering something because every other news network is covering it. I’ll be researching what’s really important.

I’m excited to hear your opinions on the controversial topics I plan on covering. You can view my weekly schedule here. Governor Gary Johnson and Ron Paul will be my guests this week. Just wait to you hear what they have to say about politics in Washington and what’s really going on behind-the-scenes.

And if you want to join in on the conversation, I’ll be answering your questions in a segment called #AskJesse– you can call in anytime on (210) 80-AskJV to ask me anything.

I’ve never enjoyed any job more in my life than the one I have now.

Until next time, stay vigilant.

Peace,
