Jesse Ventura: It's Time We Realize That War Is Man At Its Worst, Not Its Best.

Thomas Devlin from Indiana has asked: How do we end the corporate control of our politicians, is campaign finance reform the answer?

Jesse says:

It certainly is, but good luck on getting it.

You would have to get the politicians to do it, and they’re not going to bite the hand that feeds them.

The only other alternative is to stop electing Democrats and Republicans. The moment we do that, we could implicate campaign finance laws. That could then possible eliminate the corporate takeover of our politicians.

But until that happens, the United States is in a world of trouble.

Jesse says:

Not really.

I read about Jimmy Hoffa only occasionally. His name pops up in some of the history material I read.

I guess the bottom line would be why would benefit from finding out where Hoffa is?

Gorilla Monsoon was a great big powerful man, but he also had a great sense of humor. He had good timing and it was always thoroughly enjoyable to work with him.

It was one of those jobs where when you went to work, you always felt good about it because of the people you worked with.

The #1 thing we could do is to be vigilant citizens. We need exercise our 1^st amendment rights in the correct manner, which means non-violent.

You lose the sympathy of the general public if you bring violence.

We can protest, march, and get the point across without violence.

If you’re an innocent person, you should never have the threat of violence put in front of you. We’re all together too violent of a society.

I think we need to move away form war. It's time we realize that war is man at its worst, not its best.
