Over 50% of at home entrepreneurs are female

The majority of home-based entrepreneurs in the UK are female. See more interesting research about entrepreneurs from a recent survey, here.

According to a recent survey by Enterprise Nation and Direct Line for Business, 64% of home-based entrepreneurs were female, and 28% of those women had children under the age of 10.  The survey sheds an interesting light on how gender may effect the way entrepreneurs approach their business styles.
