It's time again to answer questions from you, my vigilant fans! Got a question for the Governor? Sound off at Ora.tv/OffTheGrid.

Isaiah Lane from Missouri asks: If the Electoral College picks the president why do we even vote, governor? I just turned 19 years old and this will be my first election voting! For all the young people out there that don’t know why they should vote can you please make a video with reasons on why we should vote? For your time! #presidentVentura #SoundsGoodToMe

Jesse Says:

Allegedly, if you vote and your state picks that person, then your delegates cast the vote for that person.

I agree, the Electoral College is outdated and should be abolished. It’s the popular vote that should determine the president. But if you don’t vote, you’ll never be able to change that. You need to vote!

The system has a major flaw in it and it needs to be corrected. You can’t do it by sitting on the sidelines. You’re going to do it by getting involved.

KC Stewart from Texas writes: I've heard you say many times that the only way we can make changes for the better is to stop voting for the politicians that wont help matters but who do we vote for? In all honesty Jesse, you are the only person that says the things that I (as an ordinary hard working citizen) wants to hear! I just don’t see any good changes coming from any of the possible presidential candidates. Can you provide more information about who you think who will be the best choice for president if you are not going to be in the race? I know you have mentioned your favorites and have probably made it clear but I don’t get to listen to all of your OTG videos because I usually don’t have audio on most of them. I agree about (not voting) for either reps or dems. So who do you think is our best choice in the upcoming election?

Thank you for all you do and keep up the good work. Please run for office so we can clean up this mess!

Jesse Says:

Don’t vote for anyone in the D or R! Choose a Green Party or Independent candidate.

Vote for someone, don’t vote against everybody. Pick someone who best represents what you believe in. Read about them. See what their positions are. Then vote for that person.

James Kenny from Missouri writes: Dear Governor Ventura, what are your thoughts about the ReBLOODLICANS not wanting to allow the Syrian refugees? After all letting them in might be something Jesus would do.

Jesse Says:

That’s what I keep asking the Republicans! What would Jesus do? I think Jesus would bring in and help the refugees.

If we won’t take refugees, then it's time to take down the Statue of Liberty.
