It's time again to answer questions from you, my vigilant fans! Got a question for the Governor? Sound off at Ora.tv/OffTheGrid.

Yves Legault from Canada asks: Why can the government get away with illegal activities by declaring them top secret?

Jesse Says:

It’s because they set up the rules! Anything they do that’s illegal, all they need to do is pull the cloak of national security over it and you’re not allowed to know about it. You’re not allowed to know how they spend your money on these top-secret things. It’s people in power flexing their muscles and obliterating the Bill of Rights.

Kathleen Donnelly from Ohio asks: How can a president alone, with out congress or the peoples support, commit and tie USA forever to the TPP?

Jesse Says:

It is because the Democrats and Republicans have made it that way. After all, they’ve been in charge for the last 150 years. Anything that happens, they can’t run from it. They are responsible because there have only been Democratic and Republican presidents.

We haven’t been governed by an independent since Washington. Are people aware of that? George Washington, the father of our country, was the only president who didn’t have a political party pulling his strings like a puppet.

Luis Perez from New York asks: What's the best way to live off the grid?

Jesse Says:

The best way to live off the grid is to use my philosophy: I wake up in the morning with nothing to do, and when I go to bed at night I’m half done.

Barbara Newell from Mexico asks: Why do you think there are so many mass shootings by disturbed individuals? I never saw this growing up; now they are common.

Jesse Says:

Well, I don’t know. The disturbed individuals seem to be more disturbed every year that goes by. What is causing that, I don’t know.

But you’re right, mass shootings seem to be higher. Though we’ve had our fair share in the past. It’s something you’re always going to face. You have to remember that it’s mental illness that causes this to happen, not a gun. It’s simply a tool they use, and a mentally ill person shouldn’t have a gun in the first place.
