A federal judge ordered for Kim Davis to be held in contempt without release until she agrees to issue marriage licenses

U.S. District Court Judge David Bunning has found Kim Davis in contempt of court and ordered her to be jailed until she agrees to comply with the law and issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

Judge Bunning sentenced her to be held without bail or release because he believes that her supporters would quickly pay her fines.

The remaining deputy clerks have been ordered to issue the marriage licenses to all the couples that have been denied or they will join Davis in jail.

“Davis is acting alone in her zealous mission,” wrote Shannon Ragland, of the Kentucky Trial Court Review. “Her conduct has terrorized not just her staff but everyone that works in the courthouse. And all for a foolish mission aided by out of state charlatan lawyers trying to raise money for their ‘religious liberty’ mission.”
