Florida recreational marijuana advocates are on the move to get an initiative on the 2016 ballot that would give residents the chance to vote on legalizing pot and regulating the drug like alcohol. The Florida Cannabis Act would allow anyone over age 21 to purchase and possess up to an ounce of marijuana.
It’s all part of the domino effect that is happening with marijuana.
More and more states are going to be legalizing it because they see the positives far outweighs the negatives. People are starting to understand that it's a wonderful plant, specifically for medical purposes. They see the money that it can bring as well as the revenue taxation that it can bring in. Just like in the state of Washington, they saw the judicial budget statewide drop 15% because of their legalization.
I commend Florida I wish them well and I hope that it overwhelmingly passes.
