Iceland provides the extraordinary backdrop for this friendship road movie. Watching two oldsters take travel around Iceland might not sound like a fun way to spend an hour and half but, surprisingly, it’s sweet and lovely. It’s a simple movie with a basic plot - the relationship of two older men evolves as they navigate through some rocky terrain (literally and metaphorically). It’s sort of like a less funny/sarcastic version of the duo in The Trip (a must see if you haven’t), but still quite enjoyable and worth an at home viewing.

Made for grandma. Not made for kids.
