Top Five, Chris Rock 2014
By Ali Tenenbaum
They say write what you know and Rock does just that. And he pulls it off.Admittedly, it feels like familiar terrain as he gives interviews, autographs and visits his family and friends in the projects. It’s life, imitating art, imitating life (or whatever that saying is). It’s not rocket science and it’s not the greatest movie I’ve ever seen but Rock is appealing and knows how to draw you in with his R-rated, true-to-life humor and continues to keep you interested as he navigates the outrageous circus that is his life.
It’s way too dirty nasty for kids. Grandmas who ARE dirty/nasty could go.
